Who is this ride perfect for?

This ride is perfect for those that want to conquer the full Indigo Epic and tick it off the bucket list.  We recommend this ride for intermediate – advanced riders. You’ll also need to have a descent level of fitness as the full Indigo Epic is a big ride due to climbing involved.

The first descent we’ll do is the Green-rated Baarmutha Belter before the Blue-rated Homeward Bound. This gives you a good practice run to get your eye in.

For the more experienced riders, we can also include a few slightly more technical trails.

What does the route include?

We’ll start this 5.5 hour tour at our 15 acre property – only 3km drive from Beechworth and very close to the Indigo Epic Baarmutha Belter descent. First off we will complete a loop of the Beechworth side of the Indigo Epic Trail. You’ll experience the Baarmutha Belter descent – flowy machine cut trails that are a lot of fun for riders from beginner through to advanced.  The trail is carefully curated to offer a balance of excitement for the advanced riders and accessibility for those newer to the sport.

We’ll then head to the Homeward Bound descent – this is 6km of thrills and excitement.  More technical then the Baarmutha Belter and will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Unlike our other tours, this ride will also include the Busy Beaver (a fun berm descent) and the some original man man trails of the Yackandandah mountain bike park.

Head through spectacular and diverse scenery of bushland, ridgeline views and lush fern forests. Stop for a refresh at the waterfall before the switchback climb back to the start. You could say this climb was made for eMTB’s!

What's included in the tour?

We’ll provide you with one of our dual suspension eMTB’s. Our bikes are ll fitted with a dropper post to make the descending easier. We can provide flat pedals or SPDs, just let us know when you book.

Lastly, our tour packages include helmets, drink bottles, gloves, and glasses, ensuring you have everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride. Focus on the thrill; we’ll take care of the rest!

Got your own eMTB? No worries, would love to take you on this tour – just make sure your eMTB is in good working order prior to arriving and is appropriate for this length of riding (in most cases, this will mean a full powered eMTB).
